Brody Corbett, Esme Henson, Xander Tindell, and McKenna Stroud, students at Lincoln Elementary School in Norman, Oklahoma,
recreate the the First Annual International Transcontinental Foot Race otherwise known as The Great American Bunion Derby. The 3,422.3 marathon began on March 4, 1928, in Los Angeles, California, and ended three
and a half months later in Madison Square Garden in New York City. The $25,000.00 first prize was won by nineteen year old Oklahoman Andrew Hartley Payne. For the whole story of this amazing endurance race,
