If you haven't discovered the Chronicles of Oklahoma
magazine, go to the web today and look it up. In particular, look up Volume 6, No. 2 for June of 1928 which contains an article by Charles N. Gould (the OU geology building was later named for him) titled "The Oklahoma Mineral
Exhibit at the St. Louis World's Fair." This was a primary source for me when I was writing my Centennial approved book, Paradise on the Prairie, and I know you will find it fascinating. Paradise
is off the presses now in both hard and paperbacks. I'm thrilled to hear that some schools are going to teach Oklahoma history from it next year! Check it out!
